All the Info You Need For Saturday's Barstool At The Ballpark

We are closing in on the first Barstool At The Ballpark and it’s shaping up to be a beauty. Right now we are looking at 63 degrees and Harvey vs. CC on the mound with 650+ Stoolies. Before we get into how you get into the tailgate and get your tickets, lets cover a few basics.

There are 15 tickets to the tailgate left, and after that we are at 700 people and can’t take on any more people. You will still need a game ticket with that but luckily TickPick sells those. People may decide the day of they don’t want to go in and are willing to dump their tickets but I can’t promise that.

This post and the email you are getting from TickPick should answer all your questions but if more come up just tweet at me.

ALL THE INFO YOU NEED

IMPORTANT – Check-In - You will be required to download the TickPick app (IOS - Android) and show us your order number through the app in order to enter the tailgate. If you ordered multiple tickets, you will need to use the app to share the tickets with the other members of your group. To share your order, view “My Tickets” from the app and then click your TickPick Tailgate order. From there, you can share the order through the app via text message, e-mail, or social media. Please reach out if you are having trouble sharing the order, or if any members of your group don’t have a smartphone, and we’ll take care of you.

IMPORTANT – Seating - If you placed an order and want to make sure that your tickets are next to your friend or family member, please let us know. (support@tickpick.com) We are arranging the seating tomorrow afternoon so it’s important to respond right away if you placed a separate order and want to ensure that you are sitting together with the rest of your group.

Tailgate Location - The TickPick Tailgate will be held in the Major Deegan Parking Lot near Yankee Stadium, right next to the Metro North Yankees E 153rd Street stop.

Use this link to direct you to the exact location: http://goo.gl/maps/nEU64

Don’t try to manually find the parking lot ?address using your phone or GPS, this link gives the best directions whether you are driving or walking. Our tailgate is set up barely to the west of that pinpoint, directly under the highway.

Subway: Here’s what we suggest:

1.) Use the 161st Street – Yankee Stadium stop (4, B, or D train).

2.) Get out of the station and get your bearings.

3.) Find 161 street (the biggest street, which runs West to East and is South of Yankee Stadium).

4.) Get on the South side of 161 street, (note: the stadium is on the north side of 161 street).

5.) On 161 Street, directly across from Yankee Stadium, (in between the baseball fields and the track) is a “Walkway”.

6.) Get on the Walkway and start walking away from the Stadium (note: this is towards the Metro North Station / East 153rd Street station and Yankees Parking).

7.) At the end of the Walkway, take the stairs up to the MTA Overpass, walk across the overpass and then go down the stairs.

8.) Make a right and walk along the path and the parking lot will be on your left.

Metro North - Take the Hudson Line to the Yankees – East 153rd Street station. Take a left down the stairs when you exit the turnstiles, and you’ll see the parking lot.

Driving - Exit 6 from I-87 South and bear left (do not follow the sign straight ahead towards Yankee Stadium). After you bear left, You will see a parking lot enclosed in a black chain-link fence on your right. In the middle of the parking lot there is a passage to the left, which is where our tailgate is located. If you have purchased a parking pass from us (see link below), make that left and park in our lot. If you have not purchased parking from us, park in the lot to the right and walk over (parking costs $25 across the street).

Final details: Check-in will begin at 12:00. Please have the TickPick app installed and the order ready to be shown on your phone. Alcohol: We have 5 different types of beer on tap.

Please keep Joe’s (845-489-5829) and Jack’s (Not JJ) (201-280-5726) phone numbers handy, and call us if you’re having any trouble finding the parking lot. Be prepared for a top-notch tailgate.
